I am calling this my “Snowman” Tablescape only because it sits in front of my Snowman Christmas Tree!
I knew when I bought these black buffalo checked plates that I would use them often.
I first used them on my Halloween Table (here). But I knew they would go perfectly with my black gingham matted photos on my Snowman Tree!
I love beautiful, pretty things but I like budget friendly items mixed in with a couple of splurge items. My clear goblets are from Libbey. You can find them (here) at Bed Bath and Beyond for only $3.49 each!
Years ago I also found the same glass in a sage green color at Walmart. I use both of these colors over and over on my tablescapes.
Speaking of Walmart….. my red dishes are from their Pioneer Woman Collection and can be found (here).
I love the crispness of the red, white and black combinations. This table puts me in the Holiday Spirit!
In the background you can get a glimpse of my Snowman Themed Tree. You can find more details on my Snowman Tree (here) Beautiful red packages as take home favors completes the table. Every time I sit by my tree and light the red mercury glass lanterns my heart fills with joy. I hope you and your loved ones have a wonderful and blessed Christmas.
Blessings and Joy,
Tammy

Absolutely gorgeous and so inspiring! Along with what seems the rest of the world (or at least the web), I’m on board the Buffalo Check Train and was looking for some fun, yet easy ideas for decorating with it this year. So glad I found your beautiful tablescape! One question – where did those gorgeous red lanterns in the center? Love them!
tamelaschaff@gmail.com says
Deb, Thank you so much for the lovely compliment on my tablescape! I got my red mercury glass lanterns at Hobby Lobby last year and they have them again THIS year for 50% off! I hope you are lucky enough to find them. Merry Christmas to you and your family.
Blessings and Joy,
Tammy

Thanks so much for the quick reply, Tammy! You can bet I’ll be heading to HL tomorrow – hopefully they’ll have at least a couple! Did the adorable little gift boxes come from there, too? Just love the whole thing!

I found the presents at At Home. But I believe Hobby Lobby has similar ones but with a different print on the box. And thank you once again for your kind words of praise on my Tablescape! Fingers are crossed you get your plates and the presents. BTW the presents were ornaments!

Your table decor is absolutely beautiful. Where did your red scalloped plates, and black and white plaid plates?
tamelaschaff@gmail.com says
Kristen, I got my red plates from The Pioneer Woman at Walmart! The Black buffalo plates came one year from Michaels. But I believe Hobby Lobby has something similar again this year. Thank you so much for the lovely compliment!

Your table is gorgeous! What are the sizes of your red glass lanterns?
Susan Gosby-Worley says
This tablescape is gorgeous! I am trying my best to replicate it. I had a heck of a time finding the buffalo plaid plates and had to buy a dinnerware set, but I figure I can mix and match different ways each year. I found the lanterns and the gift boxes, so I think I’m all set!
I can’t wait to show off my table at Christmas brunch. Thank you so much for sharing your creativity!
