Once July 4th is over, all I can think of for the rest of summer is being at the beach with the sound of ocean waves crashing on the sandy shore.  We are not going to the beach until September this year so I decided to bring the Coastal feel to our den.

I fell in love with this artwork!  It is painted onto the wooden background with lovely weathered colors.  Every time I look at this painting I am reminded of how great God’s love for me is!  You can find this framed piece here from Hobby Lobby

I had the sea grass looking plant but love the stacked whales are also from Hobby Lobby.  I was able to get both of these at 50% off.  I always wait for their weekly ad to see which Home Decor sections are on sale that week!

Once again, I used another lantern.  I have a lantern addiction!  I believe every table or vignette should always have lighting of some kind.  These lanterns came from Joann during their summer decor sale.

I love the way this nautical pennant garland looks against the stone of my fireplace.  It adds just one more layer to the overall vignette of this Coastal Mantel.  It too can be found (here) at Hobby Lobby.  Don’t forget to buy it when wood decor is on sale for the week!

This September, when I am sitting on the sandy beaches of the Atlantic Ocean I will remember how majestic our Lord is and how great His love for me is.  But in the meantime, I have this mantle to remind me every day how blessed I am to be loved by Him.
