Happy 4th of July!
A time to grill out and spend time with family and friends while remembering how blessed we are to live in a country with religious freedom.
This tablescape started with the plaid tablecloth I found at Tuesday Morning.
After choosing my base layer (tablecloth, placemats, runner, etc), I then decide on my centerpiece. For this tablescape I decided to do a simple basket of red geraniums that can be used all summer long. All I had to do was add small American flags that can be removed after July 4th.
The next layer are round blue placemats that I purchased two years ago and can still be found (here) from Bed Bath and Beyond.
I already had my white plates so it just made sense to use a red charger! I did purchase these this year from LinenTableCloth for only $9.98 for 4 pcs and they can be found (here).
I bought these beautiful navy swirled glass salad plates at HomeGoods for only $1.99 each. How could I not buy these!! The stemless wine glasses with the navy band came from HomeGoods last year.
My last layer on this table setting are these adorable metal red, white and blue pinwheels from Hobby Lobby, found (here). I bought mine last year on clearance for 90% off so they only cost me .30 cents each! I love a great bargain. I added some curling ribbon in red and white so they would “pop” off my navy blue plates.
My Indigo napkins are custom made and can be found (here) in my Etsy Shop. I added a second red napkin underneath. My silver star napkin rings are from Target many years ago.
Every tablescape should have some touch of lighting. I found these white lanterns at Walmart for under $10.00. They have a similar one (here).
How blessed we are to live in this great country. I hope you make the time to celebrate with family and friends this Fourth Of July. Remember to thank those who have fought for our freedom.
Blessings and Joy,
Tammy
